Radio remote control system for the LPG and Refined Fuels are the result of over twenty years experience in pumping system and tank safety equipment design. These types of wireless industrial systems offer all types of unrestricted hose end control. It also improves the productivity level and safety control over conventional truck mounted manual controls. The remote control technology used in this type of wireless device has a proven record of reliability and performance.
This LPG and Refined Fuels Wireless Industrial Remote Control is generally developed specifically for fuel delivery truck applications requiring explosion proof, severe-service remote controls, the ASKW system is available with one to eight control buttons in a rugged, compact package.
The system includes the following specifications:
This system is fully enclosed in a compact polycarbonate enclosure and the receiver unit can be easily installed by using the prewired electrical harness supplied with the device.
An external antenna is also available with the system that provides up to 1000 ft (300m) operating range. It has enough power to penetrate even brick, concrete, and metal walls.
A small external LEARN button is also equipped in this device that allows for easy transmitter replacement. This industrial petroleum remote control system is factory 'married' with unique 32 bit ID codes which ensures that the receiver will not work with any other transmitter.
It has an LED or internal diagnostic system that can monitor battery levels, signal connection, and wiring faults for easy troubleshooting.
The receiver of the system is energized only during pumping operations. It has a have built-in 'fail-safe' feature that closes all tank valves with any power loss or truck movement.
The emergency stop feature equipped in this system closes all tank valves, and kills the truck engine and pump. When the E-Stop switch is pressed by the operator, a shut down signal will be send automatically and system will be stopped immediately. This provides the interference free control of the system.
The QUERY option is also included in all ASKW systems as it is required on LPG delivery vehicles in some countries. This feature requires the operator periodically press a 'QUERY' button on the remote control to keep the pumping system active.
The ASKW wireless remote control systems are available for all types of tank truck equipment, tanks, and chassis mounted pumping systems. You can always order a quick-connect remote wire harness from the factory and they are even pre-installed as an option from most major truck manufacturers. These systems are controlled by 12/24VDC, RS232, and J1939 CAN bus chassis interface power supply. All of the systems use state of the art encryption technology to ensure an interference free, fail-safe signal.
