Radio remote controls made with frequency hopping
During any little signal loss the frequency hopping spread spectrum technology shuts down all active functions automatically keeping the system in fail safe condition. This FHSS powered industrial wireless transmitter is widely used in technological sectors in both gigantic and small machines and tank truck equipments. The common use of these systems includes latched pumping operations, process controls, high-pressure 'jetter' operations, concrete construction equipment, mobile crane operations and many more. These systems are actually used in such applications where maintained operator control is really critical to handle manually.
All FHSS powered remote control systems incorporates a secure frequency-hopping, spread spectrum radio link which is used to reduce all kinds of outside electrical or radio interference. During such outside interferences the active channels fail safe or shut down the whole system. Transmitter is flexible with rechargeable battery system and delivers 30 hrs of continuous use between charges. Charger is supplied with the products. It has an Enable button that requires two deliberate steps in each case before signal is sent. These devices are available for up to twelve pre-programmed high-side or low-side functions.
The handheld wireless transmitters are available with one through twelve buttons and corresponding receiver units are available with several output and range options. One can selectively interlock the outputs to other operations for safety reasons. Apart from that the outputs can also be sequenced with time delay or auto shut-off if required. The normal frequency of the handheld transmitter is 902-928MHz FHSS and optional 433.92, 869.7 and 2.4GHz are also available. The transmitter has a ranging power of 100mW and it is capable with 56 bit DES encryption key transmission power. An internal 'on card' PCB mounted antenna is available with a normal range of 500 feet. However, one can also get a range up to 2000ft by using an external antenna. The transmitter is constructed in a rugged weatherproof polymer enclosure and it works better in a temperature range of minus 20F to 185F. Normal rechargeable lithium ion battery is used as a main power supply with 30 hours of continuous transmission power. Audible low battery warning and flashing low battery indicator are also available. The transmitter is intrinsically safe for using in all kinds of hazardous environments and ROHS Lead-Free compliant.
Machine mounted receiver is constructed in an IP67 rated, impact resistant polycarbonate enclosure and all wirings are pre-wired to meet OEM requirements. The receiver control unit can take the current load up to 4Amps @ 12VDC per channel or 10Amps DC per system total. One can also get an optional receiver system in order to handle higher amperage loads, mix of high side and low side voltage, and dry contact relay outputs.
